The Daily Grind: What ‘bad’ build have you loved the most in an MMORPG?

They're friends.

Some players in Final Fantasy XI loved running around as a Warrior/White Mage. It’s like being a Paladin without being a Paladin! Except it actually is not, it was a terrible build, no one should ever do that. But some people really did love it, not just at low levels, and honestly? That’s fine. It’s not fine for doing serious content, sure, but if it makes you happy to run around with that and make your way through whatever solo goals you could accomplish? Live your truth, buddy.

Every game has some builds that aren’t good for various reasons but can be fun, and even if you know full well that they aren’t good (or possibly because you know that) you can still enjoy it and have fun playing. So what “bad” builds have you loved the most in an MMORPG? Not just a build that didn’t conform to the optimal meta in a given game, but one that was bad and you presumably knew when you were using it was bad?

Every morning, the Massively Overpowered writers team up with mascot Mo to ask MMORPG players pointed questions about the massively multiplayer online roleplaying genre. Grab a mug of your preferred beverage and take a stab at answering the question posed in today’s Daily Grind!
